Francis House; a partnership

Earlier this year, Holy Family Parish entered into a partnership with Emmanuel House to establish short-term accommodation for the homeless.

The newly opened Francis House provides 7 bedroom accommodation for the homeless, welcoming them into a beautiful, well-appointed house where they receive intensive support to move into more permanent accommodation.

Emmanuel House is a long-established charity with Catholic roots and their professional and compassionate approach is rooted in Catholic Social Teaching, meaning that it is entirely compatible with our vision as a Church and parish.

Here is a talk given at Masses in October by Emmanuel House’s CEO, Denis Tulley, giving us an update on how the project is progressing.
